We have witnessed how movie franchises are record holders for best-selling movies in Hollywood, generating  billions of dollars globally. This is the case of the Disney's Marvel Studios movies by bringing heroes to  the box office.  As a franchise,  this studio has 18 films open at No. 1, bringing in neary $15 billion worldwide.

When it comes to franchises, collaborations between countries really matter.  Puerto Rican filmmaker Transfor Ortiz knows it and has created a successful franchise with the movie "Los Domirriqueños", which has become the highest grossing film in history after its opening in Puerto Rico.  Our host Nenad Zezelj had the opportunity to interview him recently. Ortiz shared with us his professional expertise as a successful filmmaker.  Additionally, this Puerto Rican filmmaker indicated the importance of collaborations between producers and filmmakers from other countries.

It is clear that the success of the film industry revolves around a greater interaction between producers, directors, and writers. At Latino Film Market, we believe that the best way for filmmakers to complete their film projects is through efforts between countries where creativity is the spearhead
